Whether you want to copy your Libby settings to multiple devices, or transfer them to a new device, Libby makes it easy!
On Your New Device
- Download, install, and open the Libby app
- Tap yes when asked if you have a library card
- On the next screen, select “recover your data”
- Select “display setup code”
- Code displays
On Your Original Device
- Open the Libby app
- Tap the menu icon in the center of the bottom menu
- Scroll down and select “copy to another device”
Last Step
Enter the number displayed on your original device in the field provided on your new device:
The app on the new device will populate with your library cards, loans, holds, and tags from the original app.
Another Option
If, for some reason, you don’t want to copy a verification code from one device to another, you can create a passkey that will allow you to copy your Libby history and profile to new devices. For more information, check out this video about creating a Libby passkey.
