If you have a Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, or Tread+ with an All-Access Membership, you can now read Libby e-books while you work out. Read on to learn how!
Amazon Kindle Account
Peloton uses the Kindle app to provide e-books on its equipment, so you must start with an Amazon account. You don’t need to own an actual Kindle, but the Amazon account will be used to log in to the Kindle app. If you already have an Amazon account, use those credentials with the app on your Peloton.
If you don’t already have an Amazon account, you can create one when you open the Kindle app on the Peloton.
Start by opening the Entertainment tab on your Peloton and selecting the Kindle app. Log in to associate the app with your Amazon account.
How to Send E-books on Libby to Kindle
If you typically read on the Libby app, here’s how you can access e-books borrowed through Libby on your Kindle account:
- Go to your Shelf, then tap loans.
- Find the title you want to send to your Kindle and tap Read With….
- Select Kindle.
- Log in to your Amazon account. This must be the same account you logged into on your Peloton.
- Verify that the device in the “Deliver To” drop-down lists the device you want (Peloton), then select Get Library Book.

Reading on the Peloton
After sending your e-book(s) to the app on the Peloton, open the Entertainment tab and select Kindle. You will find the book(s) listed there. If you use the Kindle app to read on other devices, your progress will be synced in both locations.
