There are plenty of websites where you can download free e-books, but many do not have the rights to distribute those titles. Here at the library, we believe authors deserve their royalties, and we’d never point you to a website that robs creators of what they have earned.
That said, many websites legally distribute e-books for free. While you’re waiting for your next Libby hold to arrive, why not search one of these sites for something to read in the meantime?
