Whether you want to let someone know you appreciate them, congratulate them on an achievement or milestone, or communicate another message, a greeting card will get the idea across. But if you want to save paper, don’t have time to run to the store, want to send it to many people, or can’t find exactly the right message in a premade card, you can create your own!
Several platforms can help you create your animated e-card. Previously, we posted how to make a GIF using an online generator, which could be used as a simple card. You can also create a personalized animated e-card using Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides. These platforms offer the additional benefit of adding music, voice, and multiple animations. No matter which platform you use, you need to create a (free) account, if you don’t have one already.
When to Use an Animated Greeting Card

How to Create a Card
The instructions for creating a card differ, depending on the platform you decide to use. Tech-Talk has created a webinar tutorial with everything you need to know to create your animated cards on Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
