This Fall, the library subscribed to a new service to assist its users in getting answers to their tech questions and provide training on all things technology. Whether you know what you want to learn, or are interested in exploring what’s available, Tech-Talk has something for you.
Tech-Talk offers training through videos, articles, and webinars. To access this resource, go to Tech-Talk.com. If prompted, log in with the username and password (both are colonie) to unlock access to training on a variety of subjects, including:
- Creativity and Design (Canva and other tools, general design principles)
- Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Microsoft Windows
- Mobile Devices
- Web Design
- Miscellaneous Web Tools
- and more!
You can even print continuing education certificates for attending a webinar or watching its recording. If you have already searched and Tech-Talk doesn’t have information available on a topic you’re looking for, you can ask them to tackle your subject through their contact form.
To learn how to navigate Tech-Talk, check out the videos in this playlist.
Access Tech-Talk and other technology help on the library’s help page: https://www.colonielibrary.org/help. For more information about what types of help are available, check out this post.
